Buyer Payment & Refund Policy

Effective date: 9 October 2026

1. Overview

This Buyer Payment & Refund Policy explains when buyers are charged, how funds are held during an order, when payment is released in connection with publisher delivery, and how refunds work. It applies to buyers using PublishMyLink to purchase guest posts, link insertions or other publisher placements. It should be read with the Terms of Service and Publisher Payout Policy.

2. Order and payment sequence

A buyer selects a publisher listing and submits the required brief, including content topic, target URL, anchor text, article or content requirements, and any other requested specifications. The publisher reviews the brief and may approve it or request changes. The buyer is asked to pay only after the publisher has approved the content or brief, as applicable to the order workflow. Payment may be processed through PayPal, Razorpay or another payment provider supported by the platform. The platform records the transaction and order status.

3. Holding funds and release

After successful payment, PublishMyLink holds the order amount within the platform’s transaction workflow until the placement is published and the buyer has had an opportunity to review the live link. This wording describes the commercial workflow and does not mean PublishMyLink is a bank, regulated escrow provider or custodian unless it has the necessary authorisation. Actual handling of funds depends on the payment provider, settlement arrangements and applicable law. Buyers should use the platform’s official payment flow and must not send order payments directly to a publisher unless the platform expressly authorises an alternative.

4. Live link review and approval

When the publisher reports that the placement is live, the buyer should review the submitted URL within the review period displayed in the order interface or communicated by support. Check that the page is accessible, the agreed content is present, the required link points to the agreed destination, and the placement materially matches the approved brief. If everything is correct, approve the link in the platform. Approval triggers the publisher payout process, which is normally initiated within seven (7) calendar days. If there is a problem, do not approve prematurely; open a support ticket with the order ID and evidence such as screenshots, the live URL and a clear description of the mismatch. 5. 100% refund for an unpublished link If the ordered link is not published, the buyer is entitled to a 100% refund of the amount paid for that unfulfilled placement. We will review the order status and available evidence and arrange the refund through the original payment method where supported, or another lawful method agreed with the buyer. The time for funds to appear depends on PayPal, Razorpay, the card issuer, bank and settlement rules. A payment provider may have its own processing times. We cannot promise an exact arrival date once a refund has been initiated.

6. If the link is published but disputed

If a link is live but materially differs from the approved brief, is inaccessible, points to the wrong destination or otherwise fails the agreed deliverable, contact support promptly before approving the order. We may ask the publisher to correct the issue within a reasonable period or determine an appropriate remedy based on the listing, order record and evidence. A full refund is guaranteed under this policy where the link is not published; other cases are assessed according to the agreed order terms, applicable consumer law and the facts. We will not promise a refund for ranking, traffic, indexing or sales outcomes unless such an outcome was expressly included as a guaranteed deliverable.

7. Payment fees, taxes and currency

Prices, platform fees, taxes and currency will be displayed at checkout or in the order details where applicable. PayPal, Razorpay, card issuers or banks may apply their own fees, foreign exchange spreads or conversion charges. Where taxes must be charged or collected, the applicable details will be shown as required by law. Buyers are responsible for ensuring billing details are accurate and for complying with any tax obligations applicable to their purchase. If a refund is processed, the amount and treatment of third-party fees may depend on provider rules and mandatory law; PublishMyLink will not use this clause to reduce the stated 100% refund for an unpublished link in a way that contradicts applicable law or the policy promise.

8. Chargebacks, fraud and account security

Please contact support before raising a payment dispute where practical, so we can investigate and resolve a delivery issue. This does not restrict any statutory right or right to contact your payment provider. We may pause an order or account where a transaction appears unauthorised, fraudulent or subject to a chargeback. Do not share passwords, one-time codes or full payment credentials with publishers or support staff.
