Publisher Payout Policy
1. Overview
This Publisher Payout Policy explains when PublishMyLink pays publishers for completed placements. It applies to publishers who list websites or offer content placement services through the marketplace. By accepting an order, a publisher agrees to follow the approved brief, listing terms, platform rules and this policy. The policy should be read alongside the Terms of Service and Buyer Payment Policy.
2. When a payout becomes eligible
A publisher’s payout becomes eligible only after the ordered placement has been published and the buyer has approved the live link through the platform, subject to fraud, compliance and dispute checks. The link must be accessible at the submitted URL and materially match the agreed order: correct destination URL and anchor text where specified, agreed content or placement type, and the required number of links. The publisher must provide a working live URL and any reasonable evidence requested to verify delivery.
3. Payout timing
Our target and standard processing commitment is to initiate payment to the publisher within seven (7) calendar days after the live link is published and approved by the buyer. This period begins on the date the platform records buyer approval, not merely when an article is submitted or published. Processing may take longer where a payment provider, bank, compliance check, public holiday, incomplete payout details, account review, technical issue or legal requirement delays the transfer. If a delay occurs, contact support@publishmylink.com with the order ID. We will review the status and provide an update where reasonably possible.
4. Payout method, currency and fees
Available payout methods, supported currencies, conversion rates, minimum thresholds and applicable charges will be shown in the platform or communicated before the publisher accepts the relevant method. PayPal, banks or other payment partners may charge their own fees or apply currency conversion rates. Any platform fee or deduction will be disclosed before an order is accepted or before the publisher commits to a payout arrangement. Publishers are responsible for providing accurate account-holder and payout information and for any taxes, reporting or registration duties applicable to their income, except where PublishMyLink is legally required to withhold or report amounts.
5. Publisher responsibilities
Publishers must maintain accurate website and payout details, comply with applicable law, have authority to publish the content, and ensure the placement meets the agreed brief and listing conditions. Publishers must not falsify traffic or authority metrics, manipulate approval, conceal a paid placement when disclosure is legally or platform-required, or remove or materially change an approved link in breach of the order. A publisher must promptly tell the platform if the link becomes unavailable, the article is removed, the URL changes, or a material problem arises.
6. Refunds where a link is not published
If a buyer has paid but the ordered link is not published, the buyer is entitled to a 100% refund of the amount paid for that unfulfilled placement, subject to the payment provider’s unavoidable processing mechanics and applicable law. If the platform has already paid the publisher for that same unfulfilled order, or the order is refunded after payout because the publisher failed to deliver or breached the agreed conditions, PublishMyLink may recover the corresponding amount from future publisher earnings, outstanding balances or another lawful recovery method disclosed in the platform terms. We will provide an order-level record of any deduction and its reason. We will not deduct unrelated amounts without a contractual or legal basis.
7. Disputes, reversals and account review
If a buyer raises a genuine delivery concern before approval, the payout may be paused while the parties provide evidence. We may also pause a payout where there is suspected fraud, chargeback risk, sanctions concern, invalid payout information, or a legal requirement. We will assess the available evidence fairly, communicate the issue where permitted and release eligible undisputed amounts when reasonably practicable. If a payment provider reverses or disputes a transaction, we may temporarily reserve the related payout while the matter is resolved. A publisher may submit an appeal to support@publishmylink.com with the order ID and supporting evidence.
8. No guarantee of search performance
A payout is based on fulfilment of the agreed placement, not on ranking improvements, traffic growth, indexing, leads or sales. Search engines and third-party websites control crawling, indexing and ranking. Unless an order explicitly promises a particular measurable deliverable, PublishMyLink does not guarantee those outcomes.
9. Records and changes
Publishers should keep their own invoices and tax records. PublishMyLink may retain order, approval and payout records as required for accounting, fraud prevention, disputes and legal compliance. We may update this policy as payment methods, laws or platform operations change; material changes will be posted with an updated effective date and will not retrospectively remove accrued rights except where law permits.
